For those wishing to participate, these events are open to
both ladies and gentlemen. (We need details of handicaps when bookings
are made and participants must bring their handicap certificates with them.)
A draw is made for each day's competition. The draw is in handicap order for
the first day of the individual event and leader order for the following
days. Handicaps are mixed for the betterball event. Flights are mixed,
ladies and gentlemen playing together, all week. It is intended that part of
the fun is to meet and play with golfers unknown to you. The draws are
not made to intentionally keep partners and friends together.
The tournaments are organised and hosted by our partners
in Portugal who have been successfully organising similar events for many
years. Typically there are single golfers, husbands and wives and
small groups of friends participating in the tournaments.
We can book additional golf for those who want this.
