The first course to be built in the Eastern Algarve has become a firm favourite with visitors.
The original design concept was from Sir Henry Cotton and offers wonderful views to the countryside and is as yet unspoilt by any real estate.
The front nine has a fairly gentle start, while the back nine is the more difficult nine with a good variety of interesting and challenging holes amongst the indigenous Olive trees.
The clubhouse in keeping with the rest of the course, provides a nice relaxed unpretentious feel.
"Of the golf courses Benamore and Castro Marim were excellent."
