CASCAIS AND ESTORIL
Considered by many to be the "Portuguese Riviera", Estoril and Cascais sit side by side and are rich in glamour and charisma. This area offers a diverse range of attractions, cultural activities and historical heritage, which in tandem with its superb golf courses make it an ideal golf destination.
Cascais was originally a quaint fishing village but nowadays is a colourful cosmopolitan town with elegant streets, luxurious houses, as well as many fashionable shops, restaurants, bars and a modern marina.
Nearby is the beautiful Sintra-Cascais Natural Park with its stunning palaces and beautiful gardens providing a reminder of Portugal’s rich history and the home of the most westerly point in mainland Europe – Cabo da Roca.
A few minutes along the coast towards Lisbon is the slightly quieter Estoril that has the largest Casino in Europe, as well as a world famous race track that used to host F1 Grand Prix.
With a variety of top golf courses all relatively close to each other, the region offers the opportunity for a truly memorable golfing holiday.
