Porto's old town is in the Riberinha area which was origianlly developed on the Douro River banks and is now a UNESCO World Heritage site. Porto is a city filled with ancient monuments, impressive architecture and a continual buzz of activity around the river. The openness of the people and the welcome they give, make it a "must visit" city.
