In a scenic and unspolit region west of Lagos Espiche is a welcome addition to the West Algarve’s golfing roster it is a challenging course built over undulating land.
The tight lay out carries a heavy penalty for those who are wayward with the natural bushes and shrubs from the area ready to grab any errant ball. The fabulous club house is unique and in any competition for the best golf clubhouse in Portugal it would be a worthy adversary.
"The only golf course we struggled with was Espiche which we played on the first day. The fairways were tight and with little rough to slow the ball down, any wayward shot tended to disappear into thick bushes"
- Mr. K. Ward -
"Espiche Golf: difficult course because of the bushes boarding the fairways and the wind. "
- Ms. D. Kissling -
"The only remark we have is that Espiche course is beautiful, wild, very good club house but the course is very difficult."
- Mr. P. Aliphat -
"Espiche is something else! – we played on a very windy day and it certainly beat me! – However, we will probably play there again as one of our party played very well and we like a challenge."
- Mr. S. Leach -
"New course for us this time was Espiche and we absolutely loved it and can't wait to come back and play it again."
- Ms. J. Millar -
"Espiche: nice and well maintained course. Tough if you miss the fairways. Great clubhouse."
- Mr. M. Wietrychowski -
"I really enjoyed Espiche and the accuracy required."
- Ms. M. Lasichuk -
