Monte Rei Golf Course
This Jack Nicklaus signature course is arguably now the jewel in the Algarve´s golfing crown. Sculptured over some wonderful natural golfing land it offers nearly everything that is on the holiday golfing wish list.
Beautifully manicured fairways, large deep crystal white bunkers, natural and man made water hazards and slick undulating greens.
The first is the last straight forward hole on the course! While the front nine has some superb holes, the 3rd, 6th and 8th spring to mind, it is the back nine where the course really soars.
From the serenity of the 14th through the tough and challenging 15th, 16th and 17th, which play into the prevailing wind until finally you reach a relative oasis of ease on the 18th tee. It is a course you will not forget in a hurry.
The clubhouse and practice facilities are in keeping with the course and are exceptional.
Green Fee includes buggy and free use of driving range, stroke saver and a complimentary bag tag at the end of your round.

"We all live and play in St Andrews - the Home of Golf and so we are very lucky to play on some of the finest golf courses in the world. Monte Rei was equal to any course we have played anywhere in the world. Most important, was the high standard of welcome - very friendly and helpful people. We had lunch afterwards and it was as good as any fine restaurant and a highlight of our trip!"
- Mr. G. Morris -
"Monte Rei – Great course and as usual excellent condition. The staff throughout are superb, be it reception, restaurant, or the golf team / greenkeepers. The best golfing experience in the Algarve"
